We welcome UNC-TV & North Carolina Weekend

Posted April 10, 2014

The Ukulele Academy will be featured on UNC-TV  Thursday, April 9th at 9pm and Friday April 10th  on their show, North Carolina Weekend.

We had a great time with the crew of UNC-TV as they visited our classes and store and even enjoyed live music with us at our recent Victoria Vox concert. Tune in to UNC-TV Thursday, April 10 at 9pm to see what they have to say about the state’s one and only Ukulele Academy.

Here’s our jam-packed schedule for the upcoming months…don’t miss a thing! View schedule of events >

About UNC-TV’s North Carolina Weekend:

Join host DeboDeborah Holt Noelrah Holt Noel as she shares the best things to “see and do” across the state each weekend. After a long week of work, chores, and routines, most people breathe a sigh of relief when the weekend arrives. But how can people find out about all the great places to visit across the state? How can folks get an idea of what an event might be like–before driving two hours to find out for themselves? Wherever you live in North Carolina, chances are nearby a music festival, a craft show, a barbecue or a street fair is waiting for you on the weekend. Whether it’s 5 or 50 miles away, there’s a myriad of possibilities to make you look forward to your next trip…and that’s what “North Carolina Weekend” is all about!

She’ll only be playing two dates in North Carolina. One is her appearance at MerleFest, the other is on our stage at the Ukulele Academy. And, we have the added privilege of full access to this ukulele master via a lively workshop led by Del herself. Join us!
